Pro tip: Cook once, eat twice. A single roasted chicken on Sunday becomes tacos, soup, and salad toppers during the week. Bonus hack: Freeze extra rice or pasta flat in zip-top bags—it thaws in minutes. Stretching ingredients creatively makes every dollar go further and keeps us out of the drive-thru.
